Acoustic camera Nor848B/Multi-K1

In order to ensure the highest quality of new, innovative fans we are developing, we use specialised laboratory, research and diagnostic equipment to reduce their noise emissions and increase their energy efficiency. This is proven by the NORSONIC „Nor848B/Multi-Kl” acoustic camera set, which we have implemented and which allows us to record images of the sound pressure distribution emitted by the tested object. It contains three arrays of acoustic camera comprising a total of 384 microphones appropriately positioned in relation to each other and a centrally located video recorder.

The main features of the acoustic camera include:

• identification of industrial noise sources,
• indication of unwanted noise sources generated by machinery,
• identification of both stationary and non-stationary noise sources including low frequencies,
• detection of leaks in walls, ventilation ducts,
• identification of air inlets and outlets in fans at industrial premises,
• ultra-fast measurement with visualisation of results as compared to, for example, an intensity probe
