The „Hottinger BrüeI & Kjær” LAN-XI multi-channel analyser for acoustic power measurement can be used for testing devices with an almost unlimited range of dimensions – from small devices such as headphones or micro-speakers for vehicles or even in aircraft diagnostics.

The device allows for:

• splitting into two independent systems for measuring acoustic power in reverberation and anechoic chambers,
• automation of the measurement over the entire fan performance range by measuring multiple signals from different types of sensors simultaneously.

The multi-channel system offers also:

• 18 channels for the measurement of dynamic values, i.e.: sound pressure level, vibration acceleration, speed with signal generator outputs.
• 16 channels for the measurement of low-frequency signals, i.e.: temperature, humidity, control of a device via voltage or current signals of e.g. a throttle device with feedback from swing and position sensors.
