Atmosphere mixer

Atmosphere mixer, of unique construction, with diagonal impeller, is intended for pressing air or nitrogen in aluminium heat treatment furnaces in maximum temperature of 650°C. The construction of the mixer allows it to be installed vertically on furnace’s vault.

The mixer assembly consists of:

• shaft mounted in bearing sets with diagnal impeller welded of plastically shaped steel plates
• body with insulated cover
• air cooler
• shaft sealing
• motor’s belt gear

Aluminium impeller cooling a lower bearing shalf and sealing between body and shaft is encased on the shaft. All subassembies of the mixer are encased on the body with insulated cover. Rigid structure body is mechanically stress relieved, thus the whole mixer’s structure is protected against deformations coming from released stresses.
